Electrical safety basics
Don't work with exposed conductors carrying 50 volts or more. Make sure electrical equipment is properly connected, grounded and in good working order. Extension cords may not be used as permanent wiring and should be removed after temporary use for an activity or event.
What is the OSHA standard for confined space training?
Training must take place initially before confined space entries occur and annually thereafter. Each rescue team member must practice removing humans or life-size mannequins. Each team member must be trained in first aid. At least one member must be trained in first aid and CPR.
SunWorks - Safety Attitudes at Work
#1 - Irrigation System Overview
#5 - Trencahing and Pulling Pipe
Workplace safety attitudes refers to the employee tendency to respond positively or negatively towards a safety goal, idea, plan, procedure, prevention or situation. Safety attitudes influence employee choice of actions and response to challenges, incentives and rewards in the workplace.
In this video, we will discuss the key components of an irrigation system, covering everything from water sources to the products and components that are built into a system – water meters, valves, piping, sprinklers, controllers, sensors and more. (1 of 12 in series)
One of the most critical parts of an irrigation system is the network of piping in the ground. There are various types of pipe and Hand techniques for installing them, but the goal is to place piping in the ground and bury it out of sight.

SunWorks - Aspire Invoicing Workflow Overview
Today, our use of water pipelines is one of the most important parts of every irrigation system. We call the network of piping in the ground for these systems Mainline and Laterals. (6 of 11 in series).
One of the first and most important things to consider when installing overhead irrigation like a spray head or an MP rotator is ensuring that you have head-to-head coverage - spraying all the way to the base of the adjacent head. (7 of 11 in series).
In the video below, we will discuss the invoicing module, specifically an invoicing workflow overview.

SunWorks - Trailer Towing Training Video
Winter is a good time to prune trees. With the leaves gone, a tree’s structure is clearly visible. This provides a direct sightline to the tree’s interior growth habits. As such, it is often easier for an arborist to identify issues and make sound pruning decisions. Since pruning alters both the form and growth of the plant, it’s important to consider all the factors involved when undertaking winter pruning.
Proper pruning enhances the beauty of almost any landscape tree and shrub, while improper pruning can ruin or greatly reduce its landscape potential.
Whether pulling a light-weight trailer for the first time or if towing one is part of an employee’s daily routine, it is important to prepare before hitting the road.

SunWorks - String Trimmers - Maintenance Training
Tillers are great tools, but they're not toys by any means. Following proper safety instructions and operation tips will ensure you have a safe and productive experience with your rototiller.
A good tip for tiller maintenance is to wash the tiller after each use to prevent rust. Remove grime and grease from the engine so you can locate leaks if they occur. Then make sure tiller parts are greased up again to prevent unnecessary rototiller repairs down the road.
String Trimmers, AKA “Weed-Wackers” or “Weed-Eaters,” are common landscaping tools used at Cornell University. Incidents with this equipment can happen quickly and can be dangerous to the user and passer byers. These risks can be minimized through safe operating procedures and with the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
